Spice up your Saturday with Stockholm’s only northern Sweden-themed brunch
Are you looking for a different kind of brunch in Stockholm city? Then you should go for Knut on Regeringsgatan. Here, they serve brunch food from northern Sweden with one foot in the wild and the other in civilization. As soon as you enter the cozy room with genuine wooden furniture, it’s like going from swarm to swamp. The stress of the big city runs off you, and the wonderful northern feeling takes over. In short, it’s like Norrland but with a Stockholm twist.

The brunch menu offers a wide range of delicious Norrland favorites. Flatbread with moose pastrami and cream cheese, smoked salmon with black rye bread and dill mayo, berry smoothie, deer chorizo, moose meatballs, grilled tomato with goat cheese, smoked pork belly, and Västerbotten cheese pie, for example. And for the perfect ending, there are tasty desserts such as blueberry cheesecake, pancakes, and cloudberry tosca cake. Northern brunch deluxe, in other words. Knut also has a restaurant on Upplandsgatan 17, and both places serve lunch and dinner.

What about the name Knut, then? It comes from the founder’s grandfather, who often took him on berry picking, fishing trips, and moose tracking in the Jämtland forests as a child. Welcome to a culinary journey to northern Sweden.
