Located in the heart of trendy Södermalm Il Tempo is Italian at its finest. Pasta is the star here but don’t rule out the drinks. The wines are delicious and the cocktail menu unexpected.

With three locations, Urban Deli is a firm favourite with locals. If you’re on Södermalm head to Nytorget and grab a drink while enjoying a deli platter. If you’re in the heart of the city the Sveavägen location is a new hotspot, with the rooftop bar a particular favourite.

Posh and eternally popular Riche is where you grab a glass of champagne before sitting back to enjoy the parade of some of Stockholm’s most moneyed insiders. The food is excellent, as is the service.

Located inside one of Stockholm’s top shopping malls, Sturegallerian, the French-inspired Grand Escalier attracts the business crowd who work around Stureplan when they’re in the mood for an after work. Always buzzing, both the indoor and outdoor areas are open year round.
Packed with locals Surfers has a spectacular drinks menu, with the Bloody Sichuan and Zai Jan just two examples of how you can wet your whistle. Very laid back with a great vibe.

Fancy some after work sushi? Or maybe a perfectly chilled beer? Head to Ljunggren, where summer is all about the rooftop bar and winter is about a cozy room filled with young, hip professionals.

It’s on the water, it reminds you of the English countryside, and it has some of the best bartenders in the city. Cosy and with fantastic views, it’s the perfect place to kick off your evening – or maybe where you want to spend your entire evening, because you may not ever want to leave.

A Stockholm institution that continues to set the bar for understated perfection, Lydmar attracts all crowds, from young hipsters to the mature businessperson. With several bars to choose from and killer food, you might forget to go home.

There are two bars to choose from at Scandic Malmen hotel: the main bar, where the vibe is a bit more proper, or Lilla Hotellbaren, where the crowd is younger and more laid back. With a great mix of locals and tourists, Malmen is always jumping and it’s also known for a great live music scene.
