TAK Bar & Terrass
TAK Bar & Terrass is located 52 meters up in the air above the square Brunkebergstorg in the middle of the city. Stockholmers and tourists come here to enjoy the fantastic views and wonderful atmosphere. The bar’s delicious cocktails are dominated by Nordic and Japanese flavors. Basta
Basta’s terrace faces Kulturhuset at Sergels Torg
Your favorite beer or a fresh cocktail in hand. Fantastic Italian food on the plate. And on top, one of Stockholm’s absolute best locations with amazing views of the city’s rooftops. Does that sound tempting? Then you should head to Basta, which you’ll find at the top of the Åhléns City building. Four floors up, they’ve created a rooftop bar in Stockholm that’s one of the absolute best. The terrace has a wonderful Capri feeling and is a perfect pit stop whether you want to take a break during the shopping tour, have lunch or an after-work with colleagues, a lovely evening with your partner, or the perfect starting point for a night out with friends. The menu focuses on Italian food, and you can enjoy everything from antipasti (Italian street food) to main courses – Neapolitan pizza, pasta, salads, and risotto. Takpark by Urban Deli
The view is spectacular from Takpark by Urban Deli
In the middle of Sveavägen, in one of the city’s most vibrant areas, you’ll find the popular Urban Deli with a restaurant, grocery store, and food market in one. And if you take the elevator to the 9th floor, you’ll end up in their rooftop bar Takpark by Urban Deli. It’s one of Stockholm’s largest rooftop terraces that occupies the entire roof of the large building, and as the name reveals, it’s a green oasis with a pleasant park feeling. Wooden walkways, vegetation, greenery, and an airy and open environment – everything you can ask for from a real rooftop park. Plus a glazed pavilion. Takbar by Urban Deli also offers one of the city’s best bar hangouts with two bars in the open air and, as a bonus – a hard-to-beat 360-degree view of Stockholm.
The atmosphere is always great, it’s sunny, and it’s warm – in more ways than one – so don’t be surprised if the relaxed afternoon hangout easily slides over to a fun party night. With live music, DJs, and many happenings on the schedule, you have all the prerequisites. The modern cocktail bar with the suitable name Höjden (“The Height”) is high class and serves ambitious drinks with an edge. For those of you who prefer wine, there’s an extensive wine list with both classic and more exotic choices depending on your mood. Of course, there are also beer and non-alcoholic options. With your drink, you can eat smaller dishes from the menu. And since there are bars both outside and inside, the party can continue indoors if it gets cold when the sun goes down. No wonder Takbar by Urban Deli is high on many people’s favorite list.

Scandic Anglais Terrassbaren
Are you looking for a bar with a view near Stureplan in Östermalm? Then you should head to the Terrassbaren at the hotel Scandic Anglais – which describes itself as Stureplan’s most secret rooftop bar. This hidden and intimate terrace bar, located in the middle of the city’s hottest entertainment district, can be found on the hotel’s seventh floor. Follow the signs, and you’ll soon end up on one of the city’s best bar hangouts with comfortable sofas and plenty of standing room. Simple, relaxed, and festive – just as it should be. Choose something good to eat from the menu along with a glass of wine, beer, sparkling wine, or a cocktail, and get ready for a great evening.
And don’t forget the sunglasses because there’s sun almost all evening. Add a DJ who plays nice music plus beautiful views of Humlegården and Östermalm’s rooftops, and you have a successful concept that is highly valued in the Stockholm summer. But remember to get here early because this is where Stockholmers who work in the city want to have an after-work when their workday ends. The bar is open to everyone during the summer months, from the end of May to September, and the rest of the time, it can be rented by private parties.
