Spisa Pizza

Spisa Pizza Stockholm

Who said a pizza must be round? When Spisa Pizza entered Stockholm’s pizza world in 2020, they changed how we think about pizza. With their new pizza concept, where the pizza is rectangular instead of the traditional circle, they very much succeeded. They opened the first restaurant in Ulriksdal in Solna and have since expanded to Sollentuna Centrum and Hammarby Sjöstad. In the modern and stylish premises, you can either eat on-site or choose to take away.

At Spisa Pizza, you’re the architect behind your meal and decide the flavors. You first choose your favorites – sauce, cheese, vegetables, and proteins – from many fresh ingredients (a lot of them organic). Then you watch as Spisa’s skilled staff prepare your creation. And your steaming fresh pizza is done in no time – within just a few minutes, it’s ready and cut into eight parts. Just go ahead and enjoy. And if you’re not in the mood for pizza, there are also fresh and delicious salads.

Regardless of your choice, the price is always the same, and if you lack imagination, there are also several ready-made combinations that suit everything from vegans to meat lovers. The basis is always a high-quality Neapolitan pizza dough made according to craft traditions and cold-fermented for 48 hours. The fact that sustainability, the environment, and quality are natural ingredients at Spisa Pizza make things even better. In short, it’s fast food at its best.

Pazzi

In Södermalm’s SoFo on Östgötagatan is the Italian restaurant Pazzi. This is also a place with a lot of Neapolitan influences, but with more focus on slow food, which has become very trendy in Italy. The pizzas are long-fermented and topped with quality ingredients in everything from cheese to flour, where the restaurant uses what is considered the best pizza flour in the world. In other words, this restaurant doesn’t take any shortcuts to the perfect pizza. The name may not remind you of an alley in Naples, but that’s not the idea either. Meno Male is one of Stockholmers’ favorites and has been named Stockholm’s best pizza. You’ll find them in beautiful and cozy premises in four different places in the city. The restaurant’s name Meno Male means ‘thank God, ‘ and with that feeling, the talented pizza bakers create your pizza. Here you get a pizza experience beyond the ordinary.

To get a pizza with world-class taste and structure, it’s baked in a specially imported oven from Naples. The best fine pizza in Stockholm

800 grader

800 grader is founded by real food and drink nerds obsessed with creating – according to themselves – sickly good pizzas. Their ambition has become a success, and today, they have two places in Stockholm. In Södermalm, you buy your pizza slice from a hole in the wall, while Vasastan offers a small cozy room where you can sit down and enjoy your fine pizza on colorful stick chairs at lovely long tables. Together with brick walls and industrial lamps, they create a great vibe. The focus is on the ingredients, and the menu is short but with well-selected pizzas. Salsicca, pecorino, fior di latte, and n’duja – yes please! With your food, you can drink some of their pizza-friendly wines and beers. There’s no table reservation, so if you want to get a spot, you shouldn’t waste any time.

Dell’attore

This classic family restaurant in Östermalm is the obvious choice if Roman pizza is your thing. But what does it mean, you might wonder? It usually means a slightly thinner base with crispier edges, and, to some extent, other ingredients are used. The man behind the restaurant and the concept is Valerio Amico. Besides being an outstanding pizza baker, Valerio is also a former actor, which you can clearly see in the restaurant’s interior decor. His uncle Giulio was also the man who introduced pizza in Stockholm in the 1970s.

In other words, Valerio grew up with pizza and knows exactly how to create pizza like they do in Italy. Here you can book a table, and it’s recommended to do it early since Dell’attore is very popular. And no wonder it’s so appreciated among people who want to eat pizza in Östermalm – you feel at home and can enjoy the city’s best Roman pizzas.
