How about the spicy Stockholm Chorizon sausage made from Swedish corn chicken, the traditional hand-cut Argentinian chorizo Don Ylso (named after Daniel’s grandfather), or the Argentinian grill cheese Provoleta? There’s also a great vegan burger. Swedish-Argentine food joy at its best, so keep an eye on Instagram to see where Abreau Foodtruck is today.
The Meat
The Meat serves both lunch and dinner, and, as mentioned, the emphasis is on meat. The food is accompanied by a wide range of drinks, from beer and wine to champagne. And if you’re in the mood for a tasty cocktail with South American flavors, there’s also a cozy bar. Head to Vasagatan for a piece of South America in the heart of Stockholm.
Checa
Many people rank Checa as one of the best Latin American restaurants in Stockholm. This nice place is all about Peruvian cuisine, and they do everything to spread the Peruvian flavors to Stockholmers and everyone else. You visit this neighborhood restaurant for heavenly good Peruvian food, prepared with passion and heart from only the best ingredients. The recipes have been developed for generations and draw inspiration from, among other things, owner Valentin Checa’s childhood and his grandmother in Peru.

This marinated delicacy comes in several varieties – sea bass, gambas, tuna, and salmon, plus a vegan version with roasted cauliflower, zucchini, and peppers, among other things. Delicious flavor explosions! The menu also includes fresh starters and main dishes where fish, shellfish, potatoes, chili, lime, and coriander dominate. La Neta
La Neta is a Mexican restaurant that has become a success in Stockholm’s restaurant world. It’s a traditional Mexican taquería where tacos, tortillas, and quesadillas are prepared just like in Mexico. They opened in 2009 and were back then Stockholm’s first real taquería. Their goal was – and is – to share the Mexican way of eating tacos with Sweden. And their concept has obviously been a hit among the guests – the line is often long, and now they have restaurants in both the city center, Södermalm, and Täby Centrum. In the city, there’s also La Neta Bar, where you can combine tacos with a nice bar hangout.
La Neta means the real deal, and that’s what they strive for – an authentic Mexican dining experience. And they’ve succeeded. The food breathes Mexican street food and is made from high-quality ingredients. The menu features a range of guest favorites, including many options for vegetarians and vegans. The restaurant’s tacos are super popular, and many also praise their quesadillas and nacho chips with guacamole. Not to mention the sauces… You wash down the food with beer or another good drink.
Tasty and affordable food combined with pleasant premises and a relaxed atmosphere make this a popular place to slip into when you’re in the mood for delicious fast food. No reservation is necessary. And if you want to grab a taco (or two) on the go, you can choose takeaway. La Neta also offers catering for those who wish to serve Mexican at their party or event.
