Wine & Dine
Wine & Dine is an inviting and cozy restaurant with a wine bar that’s popular among both Norrtälje residents and visitors. You’ll find it in a lovely location in Norrtälje harbor and it serves both lunch and dinner. The vibrant menu mixes classics with more innovative creations and everything is made from ingredients from some of Europe’s best small-scale producers.
As you can tell from the name, wine is an essential part of the concept at Wine & Dine, and the ambitions are at least as high as on the food side. The owner has visited many of Europe’s wine regions and producers, and the result is an impressive wine list that will not disappoint you. Delicious food and drink combined with a relaxed atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly staff, great service, and regular festive events such as Octoberfest and Wine Festival – what more could you want? A large outdoor terrace, perhaps? You got it!

Cissi & Clara Gårdsrestaurang
The fixed menu, where nature, quality, and taste are the guiding principles, consists of home-grown ingredients plus lamb and meat from nearby Järinge Farm (fish and shellfish are also served according to season and availability). You start with snacks that then turn into larger cold and hot servings and end with sweets. All deliciously good. The drinks are of the same high standard as the food, and you can enjoy everything from well-made, self-composed non-alcoholic drink packages to wines from small-scale producers.
The easiest way to get to Cissi och Clara Gårdsrestaurang is by car, but you can also take the bus to this restaurant gem – the staff is more than happy to help with pick-up and drop-off. And don’t forget to visit the farm shop, which is located next door. Here you’ll find both local and global delicacies that’ll enhance your cooking at home.
Åtellet
Right at the mouth of the Norrtälje River in the city center, close to the archipelago and the sea, is the hotel Åtellet. In addition to pleasant accommodation, they also offer an excellent restaurant with bar. It has become one of the city’s most popular meeting places and here both hotel guests, Norrtälje residents, Stockholmers, and more long-distance tourists gather to eat and drink in a cozy and stylish environment. This restaurant in Norrtälje serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner – and in between a smaller menu that they call “Always at Åtellet”. And don’t miss their after-work hangouts on Fridays which offers live music and other happenings. The outdoor seating is also a highlight.
The lunch menu (served on weekdays) is extensive, with daily specials as well as weekly vegetarian, salad, fish, meat, and burgers. If you come here in the evening, you can enjoy everything from a snack and a glass of wine to a three-course dinner (there is also a special children’s menu for younger guests). Everything is prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, many of which come from local suppliers. Åtellet also gets kudos for its sustainability work, which includes selling leftover lunch boxes at half price – all to reduce food waste.
The hotel also offers conference facilities that you can combine with fun activities such as golf, fishing, swimming, boat trips, hiking, and shopping.
