Svindersviks Brygghus
When spring comes to Sickla, Svindersviks Brygghus opens. This cozy café is next to the beautiful Svindersvik – an 18th-century rococo idyll that served as an exclusive summer residence for wealthy families until the middle of the 20th century. The café is beautifully situated right by the water, and here you can enjoy lunch, dinner, or coffee in the lovely outdoor dining area where the sea breeze blows. And when the weather doesn’t permit outdoor seating, you can sit in the charming pier house, open seasonally until the autumn chill is too cold.
The menu offers a wide range of tasty options if you want to eat – seasonal soup with bread, sandwiches, waffles, salads, and many other dishes. With your coffee, you can enjoy homemade pastries – buns, cookies, pies, and cakes. And when you visit Svindersvik’s Brygghus, don’t miss out on strolling around Svindersvik’s fantastic, lush garden, full of gnarled apple trees and beautiful flowers. During the summer, you can also get a guided tour of the magnificent and well-preserved summer residence.
Urban Deli
The menu (which is also available as a takeaway) offers a wide range of delicious dishes to suit all tastes. In the evening, you can munch on snacks, cheese, and charcuterie or go big with a three-course dinner. And everything in between. If you come here at midday, you can choose from a fresh lunch menu that includes the dish of the day as well as several set dishes such as burgers, fish stew, and Korean steak tartare.
In short, it’s super tasty and super nice. So it’s no surprise that Urban Deli is a favorite among the restaurants in Sickla for both work lunches and dinners with family or friends.

Sovel
Is grilled food your thing? Then you’ll love Sovel Kött & Grill, located on the upper floor of the so-called Glass House opposite the mall in the Sickla shopping district. In a nicely decorated room, you can have lunch with colleagues on a weekday or enjoy dinner with friends or family on the weekend. The charcoal grill takes center stage – the restaurant uses it for everything to bring out that special barbecue flavor.
The menu at Sovel focuses – not unexpectedly – on meat. The high-quality kind. Among other things, beef tenderloin, entrecote, flank steaks, hamburgers, and sausages crowd the grill (a tip is to try the restaurant’s famous meat tasting). The meat comes from free-range animals in the Stockholm archipelago, but also from the rest of Sweden and the world. And if you don’t eat meat, there are other options on the menu, including sushi, vegetarian, and vegan dishes.
The restaurant also has a nice bar where you can have a beer, a glass of wine, or a drink. And in summer, there’s an outdoor seating area with around 60 seats.
Saigon Cherry
If you’re looking for restaurants in Sickla with an Asian theme, Saigon Cherry in Sickla Strand is a great option. It serves both great sushi and fresh Vietnamese street food such as goi cuon, banh mi, bao with beef, and pho. The place has become a hit in the area and is well attended both during lunches and in the evenings when the craving for excellent Asian takeaway food for dinner strikes.
The cozy venue is small with only a few seats, but there’s also the possibility to sit outside – or why not choose takeaway and have your meal down by the nearby Sickla Lake? Good food and good service – Saigon Cherry delivers a winning concept to the people of Sickla.
Erssons
Erssons’ food market is the obvious choice for those who want to buy fresh fish and high-quality seafood, but this delicatessen and fish shop also has a seafood restaurant in the Sickla shopping district. Here, you can enjoy good food in a pleasant environment – perfect for a lunch break during your shopping spree, an early dinner with a sea theme, or a bar hangout with a glass of wine or bubbly.
The menu is dominated – unsurprisingly – by the delights of the sea for both lunch and dinner. Bouillabaisse, several different salmon dishes, seafood lasagna, shrimp salad, Skagen mix, and giant shrimp sandwiches are just a few examples (if fish isn’t your thing, there’s paella). And if you want to serve seafood at a party or event, Erssons also offers catering.
Bricks Burgers & Steaks
If you want to eat burgers in Sickla, you should aim for Bricks Burgers & Steaks. The restaurant is run by experienced restaurateurs, and you find them next to Marcusplatsen, at the roundabout on the way to the shopping district. Here you can eat well in a pleasant environment – perfect if you and your colleague are hungry for nice burgers at lunch, before going to the movies in Dieselverkstaden, or for relaxing after a long shopping trip. Fast dining, as they call their concept.
The menu at this restaurant in Sickla offers, in addition to burgers, also meat dishes and vegetarian and vegan dishes. Something for everyone, in other words. The drinks menu is also extensive with beer, wine, sparkling wine, cocktails, cider, avec, and non-alcoholic. A complete dining experience, in short. And if you get cravings for Bricks Burgers & Steaks when you’re in central Stockholm, they also have a place in Kungshallen.

Holy Kebab
Holy Kebab serves up more luxurious versions of the classic fast food favorite. They’re made from veal or chicken with flavors that match perfectly and are available in bread, roll, salad, or a plate. Of course, with tasty sides like fries, chicken pops, and sauces. And if you’re not a kebab fan, pizza and falafel are also on the menu. In addition to the restaurant in Sickla, Holy Kebab has three other locations in the Stockholm area – Vasastan, Telefonplan, and Farsta.
