Restaurang AG
Meat lovers will love Restaurang AG. This award-winning meat restaurant is one of Sweden’s finest, and you’ll find it on the upper floor of an old silversmith’s workshop (hence the name AG, the chemical symbol for silver). The entrance from Kronobergsgatan is discreet, but when you enter the premises, you’re greeted by a wonderful mix of bistro and industrial environment with white tiled walls, stone floors, and stylish furniture in wood and leather. And the vibe is great – it’s easy to feel comfortable.
Naturally, meat dominates the menu at Restaurant AG. The well-stocked meat refrigerator in the entrance sets the tone immediately and the focus is on hand-picked, locally produced, tenderized meat of the highest quality. Porterhouse, club steaks, ribeye steaks, and much more – all prepared without fuss but with great knowledge. The drinks menu is also of high quality with a well-composed wine list and beer from microbreweries. A tip is to start the evening in the super nice tapas bar.

To accompany the food, there’s a large and well-stocked wine list and a wide range of other drinks. The friendly staff delivers impeccable service and ensures that you and your party have a good time in every way.

The owners used to run Sweden’s first hummus factory. The menu also includes many other tasty delicacies, such as lamb, merguez, and bream, but there are both vegan and vegetarian options.
The restaurant itself seats around 30 people and is deliberately relaxed and simple to create a homely feel. Many guests, especially during weekday lunch, also choose to order via the website and pick up their food in the restaurant.
