Gokart Stadion Ös-We Ring

Gokart Stadion Ös-We Ring, located in a scenic area near Upplands Väsby north of Stockholm, boasts Sweden’s oldest go-kart track in original condition (built in 1966). The facility has go-karts for both juniors and seniors and 23 cars can drive simultaneously on the 654-meter-long track. You can either come here for a drop-in or book one of the packages with everything from classic go-karts to long races where you compete in teams. If you want to become a more skilled driver, there’s also a go-kart school.

For families with little speed enthusiasts, Gokart Stadion Ös-We Ring is also the only go-kart track in Stockholm that offers racing for all ages. Their colorful and fun kid-racers go at 10 km/h and can be driven by children as young as 0-6 years (adults can of course ride along if needed). It’s also possible to book a kid’s birthday party on the track where the birthday child plus friends can drive kid-racers and then feast on hot dogs and ice cream.

The facility also has a café that offers simple food, coffee, candy, and drinks if you get hungry after the race.

Racehall Stockholm

Racehall Stockholm is Sweden’s largest indoor go-kart track, and you’ll find it in Botkyrka just south of Stockholm. The large and modern hall (which is also the country’s most environmentally friendly) offers a fantastic go-karting experience where the track is a full 1 kilometer long, 8 meters wide, and can accommodate over 30 go-karts at the same time. With well-designed tracks and high-performance go-karts (top speed 80 km/h), you also have maximum conditions for fast-paced driving with rapid lap times.

But Racehall Stockholm offers more than just top-notch racing. The building has two floors, and on the upper level is O’Leary’s sports restaurant with 170 seats. There you can follow everything happening on the track via TV screens and panoramic windows while enjoying good food and drinks (they serve both lunch and dinner).

In short, Racehall is a fantastic destination for both big and small go-kart fans – whether you’re an amateur or a professional – where you’re guaranteed a memorable experience. In addition, the facility is perfect for companies that want to combine a conference or event with an action-packed activity.

O’Learys Kista

If you want to go go-karting in Stockholm at a great indoor facility, head to O’Learys in Kista, located in the mall Kista Galleria. There are several different packages to choose from and the fleet includes 22 electric Sodi RSX2 racing karts, the world’s most advanced indoor go-kart, with a top speed of 72 km/h. In other words, everything you need for an energetic adventure. The age limit is 18 years, but minors (who are at least 145 cm tall) can drive in the company of a guardian.

Should you be in the mood for more fun activities after the go-karting, O’Learys Kista also offers bowling and shuffleboard. And if you want something good to eat or drink, there’s a restaurant with a sports bar serving both lunch and dinner. It’s also possible to book a children’s birthday party with go-karting if you have a youngster who likes cars and racing in the family.

Järfälla Hyrkart

Järfälla Hyrkart is a complete destination for go-kart lovers – the address of the facility is even Gokartvägen (Go-kart Street). Here you enjoy indoor go-kart all year round and there are also two outdoor tracks – a main track of 825 meters for regular rental karts and race karts and a track of 650 meters for children’s karts and younger drivers (7-11 years).

The track, one of Stockholm’s largest, has been around since 1982 and offers a challenging and pulse-raising mix of difficult curves and long straights. In addition, it’s approved for real racing karts and therefore has smooth and fine asphalt. You can either book a go-kart race or come spontaneously for a drop in.

The indoor track is about 250 meters long and 7-9 meters wide, so you have plenty of room for overtaking and racing. For more experienced drivers, hungry for real speed, the facility also offers rental of real racing karts. These extra-fast 125 cc karts have 28 horsepower and can reach breathtaking speeds of over 100 km/h. Järfälla Hyrkart also organizes go-kart schools and competitions. In addition, the hall has a café, conference rooms, the go-kart shop SODA Kart, and a large terrace.

Stockholm Action Center

Stockholm Action Center in Huddinge is full of action, as you can hear from the name. It’s the city’s largest motor and adventure park, filled with exciting and fast-paced experiences. So if you want to go go-karting in Stockholm, you’ll obviously find karting in the wide range of activities. The facility offers both indoor and outdoor go-karting. And that’s not all, you can also go go-karting on the lake – boat racing in go-kart boats. These small, tough boats take you close to the water’s surface on a challenging course, reaching speeds of up to 25 knots. So sitting calmly in the boat can be a bit of a challenge…

In addition to go-karting in water and on land, you can also try adrenaline-pumping activities such as folk race, ATV racing, and paintball at Stockholm Action Center. It’s a popular place for everything from groups of friends to companies, and the action-packed facility is popular for team building, kick-offs, hen parties, and stag parties. And if you want to mix up the action with something more relaxing, you can also add spa to your package.

Stockholm Paintball & Äventyrscenter, located in Upplands Väsby, is another entertainment center with plenty of fun on offer. Here you can, of course, play paintball, but also drive a quad bike, try the pentathlon, decathlon, and an obstacle course. And not least go-kart racing. In karts with a top speed of about 80 km/h, you drive on a 200-meter-long and 8-meter-wide track with many sharp curves that put your driving technique to the test.

If you want to go go-karting in Stockholm combined with other fun activities, the facility offers several packages at great prices. Why not start by crowning the racing champion of the gang on the go-kart track and then continue with exciting paintball? A hard-to-beat action mix that’s guaranteed to give both adrenaline and many laughs – perfect for bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, and corporate events. If you want food and transportation, Stockholm Paintball & Äventyrscenter can also help with that.

Gokart för alla

If you want to go-kart race in a beautiful rural setting, take a trip to Norrtälje and the Gokart för alla facility. This 470-meter-long track has offered wonderful driving experiences filled with speed and excitement ever since 1985. The difficulty level is mixed to suit both experienced and rookies, and the range includes both large and mid-sized cars. You need to be 8 years old to drive on the main track, but if you are younger than that, there’s also a smaller track for children (5+ years).

Gokart för alla offers drop-in driving, but during times when the track is not open for everyone, it’s also possible to book group races where you and your party (at least 6 people) have the whole track to yourselves. V-racing

If you love racing and motorsports, but for some reason don’t want to or can’t get into a real car, you’ll love V-racing in Västberga. Here, it’s not go-karting but virtual racing all the way. You drive a car in simulators that give you such a realistic racing experience that you feel like a world-famous racing star on the track for real. And accelerating, braking, turning, and shifting with full focus at immense speeds is a challenge, to say the least.

At V-racing you can try several of the world’s legendary racing tracks where you can experience speeds of several hundred kilometers per hour in front of the screen. Plus all the trials and tribulations that come with it – accelerate too much and you’ll spin around, and brake too late and you’ll suffer the consequences of that mistake.

The range of simulators includes Scandinavia’s only Pro F1 simulator, and the units are far from just a chair with a steering wheel and screen. Instead, you sit in large, technologically advanced, and expensive cars that further enhance the sense of reality. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate – it’s clear that they’re passionate about their work – and will look after you in the best possible way. So just gather your friends or colleagues and head to Västberga for an unbeatable racing experience.
