The duo behind some of Sweden’s most beloved family productions delivers grand, colorful shows packed with humor, music, and energy that captivate both kids and adults. In fall 2025 and spring 2026, they’ll present three major musicals in Stockholm: Snow White, Aladdin, and The Jungle Book – each featuring large casts and some of Sweden’s top musical theatre stars.
Snow White, starring Kiana Blanckert, runs from October 18 to January 6 in a real big-top tent at Gärdet, where circus magic meets musical theatre in a dazzling fairy-tale world. Sauna Wellness
Sauna Wellness is run by a couple passionate about sauna traditions and wellbeing, with the goal of bringing authentic Nordic sauna culture to Stockholm. The sauna fits up to 13 people and is open daily from 5 AM to 1 AM for members, with special Monday sessions available for non-members. It’s a serene hideaway where stillness, connection, and recovery take center stage – the perfect place to step away from the city and enjoy a lakeside experience that leaves you feeling completely renewed.
Wine Night in the Spirit of Art
The session lasts either 1.5 or 3 hours and works just as well for a group of friends as for a company looking for a fun, creative team activity. The studio is warm, inspiring, and full of energy, and as everyone’s ideas blend together on the canvas, something unexpected and entertaining takes shape. When you’re done, you get to take your own artwork home as a personal reminder of the night.
Gröna Lund
If you want to do something really fun in the Swedish capital, there’s probably nothing that tops Gröna Lund. It’s Sweden’s oldest amusement park, which opened in 1883. “Grönan”, as the locals call it, offers 27 adrenaline-pumping attractions for both young and old. From breathtaking roller coasters and scary haunted houses to more child-friendly carousels. In other words, it’s heaven for both families with children and groups of friends.
In addition to the great attractions, Gröna Lund offers many other pleasures. You can experience fantastic concerts with well-known artists (both Swedish and international) on the main stage, eat food from all corners of the world, and challenge family, friends, or colleagues in an exciting pentathlon. Among other things. The amusement park is open from late spring to September plus extra opening hours during Halloween and December.
And in the unlikely event that you have a moment to spare after visiting the funfair, you’ve come to the right place. Idyllic Djurgården is Stockholm’s entertainment and activity mecca and is incredibly popular with both tourists and Stockholmers. Besides Gröna Lund, you can enjoy yourself at the Vasa Museum, Skansen, ABBA The Museum, Junibacken, The Viking Museum, and more.

Here, visitors of all ages are invited on a playful, imaginative journey where they can build their own stuffed animal and experience the magical heart ceremony – from choosing a favorite character to adding sound effects, tiny outfits, and personal touches that make each bear one of a kind.
The collection includes both timeless favorites and exclusive designs inspired by Swedish culture. Throughout the year, new themed releases arrive – from Halloween and Christmas to Valentine’s Day – so there’s always something new to discover. Build-A-Bear Workshop is more than just a store. It’s a place for joy, creativity, and shared memories – a place where every visit ends with a new friend to take home. Because at its heart, Build-A-Bear has always been about one thing: bringing a little more heart to life.

Fjäderholmarna
Sweden’s amazing capital has much beauty to offer, and among the most magical is the Stockholm archipelago with its 30,000 islands. Exploring the archipelago is a great activity in Stockholm, whether you’re looking for a cozy day trip or a multi-day island hopping. With sun and swimming mixed with nature experiences and pier hangouts (and perhaps kayaking?), it can’t be anything but a success.
The easiest and quickest way to reach the archipelago is to visit Fjäderholmarna, Stockholm’s closest archipelago island. The boat ride from the city center takes only 30 minutes and offers a fantastic view of the town and the water. When you arrive, there are many things to see and do. Stroll through the archipelago environment, check out picturesque buildings, shop for fine crafts, relax on sunny rocks, and take a swim at the island’s beaches. If you get hungry, there are several good restaurants and cafés.
Questrooms
The facility has 13 exciting escape rooms and VR experiences. How about escaping from the Russian mafia, traveling through time, going on an adventure in the jungle, or experiencing a thrilling hunt in a horror-filled Horror Escape? Several of the experiences are also adapted for teenagers or children so that everyone can join in the fun. Whether you’re organizing a bachelorette party, bachelor party, birthday celebration, kid’s birthday party, or team building, Questrooms is guaranteed to be a hit.
Golfbaren
Golfbaren’s five themed facilities offer the ultimate mini golf experience
Few activities give you the same summer feelings as mini-golf. Grabbing the club, putting up the golf ball, and challenging friends or family to an exciting tournament. And if you want to play mini golf in Stockholm, you should go to Golfbaren, the city’s most versatile venues, founded by a former world champion in golf. There are five facilities around the Stockholm area where you can play mini golf on high-quality courses, both outdoors and indoors.
The three outdoor facilities are open from May to September and are real summer oases. Aspudden and Kristineberg are among the city’s most classic miniature golf courses, dating back to the 1950s, and in Nacka Strand, you can play with a view of the Stockholm archipelago as a backdrop. All facilities also offer good food, and drink and ice cream in connection with the courses. If you experience a craving for mini golf even during the winter months, Golfbaren also has two indoor facilities in Vasastan and Sundbyberg. In addition to great courses, there are also restaurants and bars – perfect for warming up before the match or for a chat after the winner has been crowned. In short, you get the complete mini-golf experience here.

Stockholm Ghost Walk
In addition to ghost walks (see starting points on the website), Stockholm Ghost Walk also offers the show Spirit of the Glass (in Swedish). It’s a show that mixes illusion, storytelling, psychological manipulation, and misdirection – where the audience also participates in the events. Thrilling is an understatement. So if you’re looking for activities in Stockholm with lots of both creepiness and entertainment, few can match Stockholm Ghost Walk.
Äventyrsbanan Stockholm
Äventyrsbanan is a perfect activity for individuals, companies (popular for team building and kickoffs), associations, and school classes who want to do something different, have fun, and socialize in one of the city’s finest forests. What’s more, you can combine the activity with a meal or a party – there are several barbecue areas for picnics (and you can even hire your own chef). And if you want to finish in the best way, end the experience with the cozy wood-fired sauna, scenically located by a lake.
Inferno Online
At Inferno Online you can play virtually all popular games available on the market. Players of all ages are welcome, and the environment is calm and comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a nice and social way to LAN. The facilities are open seven days a week from morning to late evening (book in advance or drop in) and during the weekends they also organize “night gibs” where you can play all night. And for children’s birthday parties, Inferno Online is a safe bet. A complete gaming experience with food, drinks, and games will easily make the kids happy.
