Stockholms Bränneri

Stockholm’s very first craft distillery is housed in a former Jaguar repair shop on Södermalm. Stockholms Bränneri was founded in 2016, and they produce gin, aquavit, vodka, and aperitifs using sustainable, organic methods with locally sourced ingredients (you can find their products at Systembolaget). The original gin recipe was actually developed for the founders’ wedding, and today you can visit the distillery to learn more about their craft.

They offer several experiences for gin lovers, in both Swedish and English. The classic distillery tour with gin tasting includes a welcome drink, a guided walk through the production process, and tastings of four different gins. You’ll learn how Stockholms Bränneri creates their gin and see the entire process up close. If you’re a gin and tonic enthusiast, there’s a special workshop where you’ll dive into the classic drink’s history, explore new tonic trends, and discover how to create the perfect flavor combinations. You’ll get to mix three of your own gin and tonics using the distillery’s spirits.
