The store in Old Town is Mats Jonasson Concept Store. Mats started working as an apprentice at the glassworks in 1959 and now creates unique glass blocks and crystal sculptures with mainly nature motifs, such as animals and plants. The store on Drottninggatan is Målerås’ Flagship Store. The space is full of inspiration, and here you can see and shop from their wide selection of handmade items – art glass, sculptures, drinkware, tableware, bowls, candle holders, vases, jewelry, and more. Svenskt Tenn

Svenskt Tenn is a classic interior design company with a store on the beautiful Strandvägen in Stockholm. The company was founded in 1924 by Estrid Ericson, and ten years later, the Austrian pattern master Josef Frank was tied to it. Afroart has been around since 1967 and currently has two stores in Stockholm. It’s run by six textile designers that, in collaboration with local craftspersons from all around the world, create ethnic crafts for the Swedish market.
The idea is to use design as a tool to develop and market adapt traditional craftsmanship to create jobs in developing countries. The import is done directly from the craftspersons or through fair trade organizations, and the stores are real color explosions full of beautiful things and genuine craftsmanship.

A visit to Ekerö Möbler requires you to trip a bit outside the city, but it’s definitely worth it when you arrive at one of Stockholm’s most beautiful surroundings (and the parking is free).
The store is located in an old barn house in the island Ekerö in Mälaren.
