At Vikingagatan 10 in Vasastan, Trippel M serves authentic Bolivian lunch and coffee. On weekends, pots and pans are heated up for more warming South American food. For larger celebrations, you can order full meals with a distinctly Bolivian flavor, with spectacular cakes of course. The breadth of dishes and ingredients in Bolivian cuisine will undoubtedly make your taste buds dance.
Trippel M is run by a small family business with roots in Bolivia. Everything is cooked on-site and from scratch. The goal is not only to be the first in town to offer the best food but also to spread Bolivian gastronomy so that more people can discover this heartwarming cuisine.
The menu includes everything you could want from a more filling breakfast and lunch café. Various rolls and sandwiches sit alongside deliciously crisp, deep-fried empanadas filled with either just cheese or cheese, potatoes, and beef. The baked version – Bolivian salteña – with its sweet and buttery crust is filled here with a juicy filling of chicken, potatoes, eggs, and olives. Yogurt with honey and muesli, overnight oats sweetened with apple compote, coconut milk chia pudding, and smoothies in five different flavors: apple, banana, mango, strawberry, and raspberry. The breadth of the range illustrates the café’s modern yet familiar character. Trippel M’s selection makes breakfast fun, whether you want a hearty or more light-hearted breakfast.

Of course, there is both coffee and tea, which can be mixed with the sweet, immensely popular tea drink bubble tea, also known as boba tea. There are a variety of flavors to choose from, ranging from matcha and avocado to strawberry and brown sugar with milk.
After breakfast comes lunch. Just like in the morning, the welcome is warm, friendly, and encouraging. Pasta, omelet, or a salad. The latter includes classics like Caesar salad with crispy croutons and umami dressing and shrimp salad with creamy Rhode Island. Expand your horizons with an Asian salmon/sashimi dressed with fresh ponzu or perhaps spring rolls with crispy vegetables.
As you would expect, there should be something sweet in your stomach after or between meals. The obvious choice at Trippel M is undoubtedly alfajores. When these crispy cookies from South America are filled with dulce de leche, the tongue floats like little clouds. The fruit salad is colorful and the chocolate mousse is powerful, just as it should be.
In addition to running the café and lunch restaurant, Trippel M also offers larger Bolivian dinners on weekends, as well as parties and catering. What really impresses us is the cakes, or rather the artwork, that can be ordered.
The cakes are perfect for any celebration and can be made almost as personal as you like in terms of both filling and imaginative decoration. Homemade is a word that summarizes the feeling of Trippel M – Stockholm’s very own Bolivian gem.
