On the cozy, bustling Västerlånggatan in Old Town lies the Italian restaurant Ristorante Paganini. With its red awnings and traditional plaid tablecloths, Paganini exudes charm, warmth, and homeliness. It offers everything from pizza and pasta to meat and fish dishes.

Paganini is a family-owned restaurant that has been around since 1995 and was founded with a vision of bringing together flavors from different parts of the world with traditional rustic Italian cuisine. These flavors are characterized by the founders’ background in Italian cooking, but also influenced by many years of commuting from Tuscany to Stockholm. Paganini’s menu can thus be seen as a selection of the best from these two worlds which have been chosen and refined.

The food at Paganini is a blend of the modern and the classic where ingredients are chosen after the season. Everything is, as mentioned above, inspired by Italy, and more specifically from the Emilia-Romagna region in the northern part of the country. One of Paganini’s specialties is their two ready-made menu suggestions. These must be pre-booked and are created by the restaurant’s experienced chefs. The two different menus offer three or four dishes respectively and the guest can choose from a few different main courses, all of which fit perfectly with the starter, second plate, and dessert.
