One of the biggest advantages is the convenience. You can leave your dog, park your car, and take the shuttle to Arlanda, making the start of your trip that much easier. On top of boarding, Ekfalk Animal Center also offers dog daycare, grooming services, and a pet shop.

During the day, dogs join the activities at Hundgården’s daycare, where they can play, exercise, and spend time with other dogs in a safe and supervised setting. Afterwards, they return to the house to relax and unwind. Walks, playtime, and rest are all adapted to what suits each dog best, helping them feel comfortable throughout their stay.

Hundgården Lidingö has been welcoming dogs for more than ten years and is conveniently located close to both nature and public transport. Alongside boarding, they also offer daycare, dog walking, training classes, and grooming services such as nail trimming.

Gittan has spent most of her life working with animals. She has experience with harness racing horses in both Sweden and the US, has worked in healthcare as both a nursing assistant and a paramedic, and ran a yoga centre for more than 20 years before opening Hagen. Today, she brings all that experience to creating a calm, safe, and caring environment for every dog.

Each dog has their own kennel, and owners bring their dog’s bed, bowls, and food to help them feel at home. Every stay includes four outings a day, including a long walk through the surrounding countryside as well as plenty of time outdoors in the enclosed play areas.

Your dog’s wellbeing comes first, and the experienced team takes safety seriously. Because they only welcome up to four boarding dogs at a time, every guest gets plenty of individual attention. Dogs either have a room of their own or share with another calm, compatible dog if that’s the better option. At night, they sleep in their own rooms, and a member of staff is always on site.

During their stay, dogs have everything they need, including comfortable beds, toys, chew treats, and lots of care and attention from the team. Four walks a day are included, so your four-legged friend gets plenty of exercise as well as lots of time to relax and feel at home.
