Pomme is French for apple, one of our favorite fruits. That’s why this mythical symbol, the apple, which stands for both knowledge and love, got to be the name of the creperie. In times past, the rebuilt Pomme Crêperie used to house a milk shop.
When the premises became available three years ago, founder Anna Kvie saw her chance to take care of the place, while at the same time fulfilling her dream of opening a restaurant.
Pomme Crêperie is a delightful combination of the genuine French crêperie and traditional Swedish flavors.
She renovated and freshened the place up, she bought traditional French cast iron pans and started selling her crêpes and galettes. Anna has a passion for the classic French crêperie traditions, but she also brings a modern touch to everything she does. The dishes on the menu are a blend of Swedish and French food traditions.
Names such as ‘Norrsken’ (Northern lights) or ‘Haga’ entice you to try something new. The typically Swedish element among the dishes are the galettes flavored with salmon, sour cream, dill or red onions. It can also be the sweet crêpe with cloudberry jam and vanilla ice cream. The tasty galettes are gluten free and, and they are made from ecological buckwheat flour from the Swedish province Värmland.

Everything is prepared ’a la minute’ on French cast iron pans. You can get lactose and gluten-free sweet French crêpes, and it’s also possible to order vegetarian or vegan food.
It’s worth noting that you have to pre-book Pomme Crêperie and that groups and gatherings are welcome.
It’s like an exclusive Chambre séparée where you and your company have the whole restaurant to yourselves. That’s why the place is perfect for after works, team buildings, bachelorette parties, family gatherings, and other celebrations. It’s even possible to have your wedding reception here but keep in mind that the place is small and intimate.

If you want to try the fine crêpier art on the French cast irons yourselves, then it’s just to tie the apron. You can also book a luxurious champagne tasting, with an expert. Or why not have a champagne brunch? Whatever you decide to book, you’re guaranteed a beautiful atmosphere, tasty crêpes and a cozy feeling with French vibes.
