Mazati Kök & Bar in Solna serves Lebanese food that really tastes as it does in the Middle East. The cozy tavern offers a stylish, rustic environment with brick walls and dark furniture, welcoming staff, and really good food prepared from scratch.
This Lebanese restaurant is, according to its own statement, situated “in the middle of Greater Stockholm” and that may well be true. It is easy and quick to get to the charming restaurant on Råsundavägen in Solna both on foot, by car, and by public transport. And guests really do find their way here from all over the city, even from all over Mälardalen, to enjoy the well-prepared and authentic Lebanese food.
Mazati Kök & Bar is a family business in the true sense of the word. Issa, who runs the restaurant, has worked in the restaurant business for more than 15 years, and his mother and father prepare all the good food. Everyone is passionate about food and working with people. The restaurant opened its doors in the middle of the pandemic, but the rumor of Lebanese delights spread quickly and the restaurant has established itself as a popular food destination in Solna, where the many regulars come back again and again.

The menu consists of traditional, and a little more unusual, Lebanese dishes. For those who want to try a bit of each, we recommend a tasting menu consisting of a variety of cold and hot side dishes, meza, as well as different types of grilled meat with accessories and clutter. It is of course just as well to choose a few Meza for an appetizer, here you will find everything from vegetarian vegetable dishes and spicy sausages, and then enjoy a main course from the barbecue. If you have room after there is a small but tasty dessert menu with Lebanese sweets. No one really goes hungry from here!
The restaurant has full rights and a large selection of Lebanese wine that is tastefully suited to the dishes. Of course, there are also different beers, a lot from Lebanon, and non-alcoholic alternatives for those who prefer it. Plus Lebanese coffee (perfect for baklava) and mint tea. Mazati Kök och Bar also offers takeaway and catering for parties, student exams, christenings, corporate parties, and more.
Happy are those who work in the big offices across the street, for they can enjoy this good food even at lunch! The lunch service, which is of course open to non-office employees as well, is open every weekday from 10:30-14:00, except in December when Mazati Kök & Bar is not able to because of its now well-known Lebanese “Christmas dinner”.
During this different Christmas dinner, you and your party enjoy one of three different Christmas menus. Which one to choose depends on how hungry you are. The menus include either 12, 14, or 16 hot and cold meza plus a barbecue mix. Just like always at Mazati Kök & Bar, everything is cooked from scratch with fresh, high-quality ingredients. All Christmas menus also include coffee, tea, a large fruit and dessert platter, and a glass of beer or wine.
Regardless of what time of year you visit Mazati Kök & Bar (in the summer there is a nice outdoor dining area under red awnings) so get a fantastic experience with really good food and good service and we dare almost promise that you also become a returning guest.
