Between the 21st and 30th of October Vildsvinsfestivalen will take place at select restaurants in Stockholm. Yesterday we were at a preview at KB to try some delicacies made with wild boar.



In the picture you see:

  • Slider with truffle and pickled red onion
  • Chorizo with fried sauerkraut and mustard
  • “Pulled boar” – boar meat in wine served with fennel and hazelnuts
Everything made with the lean and organic wild boar meat.
Five restaurants have composed their own menus according to the nose-to-tail concept, which means including all parts of the animal.

So take the opportunity to try some delicious meat from the Swedish forests!
