Luxury brunch, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and pink, pink, pink. Does that sound like a hit? Then you should swing by Sankt Eriksgatan in Vasastan. Here you’ll find Stockholm’s most Instagram friendly café and event creator – The Pink Company.
Last updated: January 4, 2021
The Pink Company definitely delivers what the name promises. It’s pink from floor to ceiling, and almost impossible to miss the café from the street. Behind the concept are the PR geniuses and couple Juliana and Valle.
“We’re entrepreneurial souls,” says Valle. “It all started with delivering breakfast boxes around Stockholm. That was Juliana’s idea. She designed the menu, and we started selling online. Our catering concept, where we delivered a ready-made package with juices, American pancakes, and fresh fruit, didn’t exist before. And that’s how we made a name for ourselves. We work a lot with visual and good food, something that people appreciate.”
The Pink Company is a meeting place beyond the ordinary where everyone is welcome.
Juliana and Valle met eight years ago in Spain. Today they live in Stockholm with two children, and at home, they speak Spanish. Since Juliana doesn’t speak Swedish, Valle acts as the spokesperson to the outside world. While Juliana stands for the vision, ideas, and creativity, Valle complements her by channeling the ideas, creating contacts, and building a network. Together they form a dream team that delivers fabulous events with an extra wow effect.
The Pink Company’s premises has hosted many events: bridal showers, birthdays, photoshoots, and music video recordings. They receive many different requests, including people who want to launch clothes and jewelry in their venue.
“We’ve been very fearless and unconventional in our approach, with guerrilla marketing and so on. In that way, we’ve been able to build up a network of influencers,” says Valle.
He also highlights that they’re not a pure PR or event company.
“We don’t pretend to be experts. We have a ready-made environment and the tools to create a fantastic event. You could call us Venue Holders,” he says.
We put a lot of thought into the visual part. The food should look magical, but also taste magical.
“The idea is that it should be a meeting place beyond the ordinary where everyone is welcome. We want to aim for the horizon and deliver a different experience. The basic vision is to stand out from the crowd and give a wow reaction.”
And you will definitely say wow when you enter through the door. Here, you’ll find flower-covered walls, a telephone booth, a bathtub, flamingos, and a sign that says ‘Pink is the new black’ – all with a pink theme.
The color scheme also continues on the plate with luxurious desserts, acai bowls, and brunch arrangements. The star of the menu is American pancakes. The batter is made from scratch, baked fresh every day, and topped with a selection of luxurious toppings such as berries, edible flowers, chocolate, and mascarpone.
“We put a lot of thought into the visual part. The food should look magical, but also taste magical.”
Whether you stop by for a spontaneous brunch or book a luxury event, you can expect top-class food and, to say the least, an Instagram-friendly environment. Welcome in!
