Last Saturday we had a tapas night at Poche 36, located at Södermalmsalléen. It is part of Usine which has both a bistro, Bistro 38, and the less formal tapas bar, Poche 36, in the back. I booked this through The Fork after seeing the nice reviews and an offer for 40% off on the bill, an offer I couldn’t resist 😉
On the menu you find charcuteries, cheese, gambas, small tortilla tacos, beef tartare and risotto among other things. Prices range between 50-100 SEK and 3-4 tapas is recommended per person. My favorites were the beet root carpacio with chevre and walnuts and the beef tartare with pickled chantarelles and lingonberries. It was delicious!
Beet root carpacio with chevre and walnuts, beef tartar with chantarelles and lingonberries, tacos with tuna, tuna filet, and gambas – so good!
I really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant with cozy lighting and modern furniture. When we were there on a Saturday evening it was crowded with a joyful ambiance, which is always nice at a place like this. Nothing worse than an empty bar in my opinion 😛
For dessert we had blueberry pies with mascarpone. I loved the combination of sweet and sour!
The service was nice and everything went smooth with no delays. All tapas came in at almost the same time which I appreciate, I am not a big fan of getting one or a few at a time which I have experienced at some places. Our waiter was aware that we had booked through The Fork so there was no trouble with getting our discount.

I will definitely add Poche 36 to my list of good tapas restaurants. I will definitely come back to check out Bistro 38 as well, both for dinner and weekend brucnh which I have heard is really good!
I strongly recommend you to check out The Fork when making dinner reservations, they have a lot of good offers with up to 50% off the price. Furthermore, you get yums for every reservation you make, which you can then pay the next restaurant visit with!
