When that special time of the year comes around, when it’s dark outside most of the time, and Christmas is around the corner, Stockholm is illuminated by thousands of lights and decorations. If you still have trouble getting into the holiday spirit, we recommend you go see one of the many Christmas shows that Stockholm offers this time of year. Then we bet you will feel jolly as well.

Julgalan is an annual, touring Christmas show with some of Sweden’s most prominent and beloved musicians and singers. This year’s artists include artists like Alcazar, Molly Sandén, last year’s Swedish Eurovision winner Robin Stjernberg, Miriam Bryant, Darin, Dr Alban and Shirley Clamp among the many performers, and the show will definitely satisfy your musical and holiday needs.

This sparkling and shimmering experience takes place in the Filadelfia Church, and each year attracts around 8,500 expectant visitors. These award-winning choirs also get a little help from different guest artists to add extra sparkle to the show. Taking the stage this year is no other than Jasmine Kara and Fred Johanson, and just like last year, popular Swedish actor Stefan Sauk will guide you through the show. This truly is a musical treat if you enjoy harmonized singing.
