Siggesta Gård calls itself a ’boutique hotel.’ What does it mean? Well, it means a smaller hotel with chic decor that has an emphasis on a personal feeling and unique atmosphere. It offers a special experience where decor, design, service, and food are something out of the ordinary.
And that’s exactly what makes Siggesta unique – that the well-being factor delivers with beautiful environments, animal pastures, and activities for both adults and children. Caring and passion are the keywords. “We cook, decorate, make beds, and fix, so you want to come here and stay for a while with the whole family, friends or colleagues.”
Open 365 days a year for everyone. Treat yourself to a piece of the good life and enjoy the countryside quietness.
You stay in stylish and nature-inspired rooms that, despite renovations, have kept their charm and character. TV’s are replaced with books and magazines, and outside you have nature trails and lovely walking paths. Choose between a single room, double room, family room, villa, and a suite. In total, there are 39 rooms with a total of 89 beds.
If you look out the window, you’ll see the farm’s main activity: the animal pasture which houses chickens, goats, horses, and alpacas. Very popular among both children and adults. The farm area also offers pony rides, and an extraordinary trail called ‘Träsktrollens stig’ (the ‘Swamp Troll’s trail’), a playful fairytale world perfect for the little ones!
For the older ones, there are plenty of outdoor activities. Try the obstacle course in the woods where you can challenge yourself, your friends, or colleagues with excitement and physical exercise. For the younger ones, there are cabins and elks to climb in the meantime. If you’re fond of golf, there are disc golf, miniature golf, and football golf.
Do you prefer a less sporty activity? Then you can find bargains at the car trunk flea market held every Sunday, very popular among both buyers and sellers. And if you want to enjoy life to the maximum, you can book the wood-burning hot tub or the sauna under the oaks.
After fun activities, you get hungry. Then you can have a seat in the restaurant and enjoy a wonderful summer lunch. Award-winning chefs work with food from the farm with a modern and rustic touch. Everything is prepared from the ground up with an emphasis on green and exciting flavors. In the evening, you’re served asparagus, grilled salmon, and the best from the grill, and you can finish the dinner with a delicious Crème brûlée.
A newcomer on the farm is the kitchen garden where the restaurant grows its own vegetables and herbs to become self-sufficient eventually. The guests can pick up a bag of locally grown goods to bring home, and there’ll also be activities containing the wild-grown and garden-grown – you can, for example, pick nettles, harvest tomatoes, and find things in the nature that are eatable.
If you want to book a party, Siggesta Gård helps with menu, DJ, decoration, arrangement, and project management. They offer several popular themed packages, such as ‘Sharing Dinner’ with a country theme in Logen (‘The Barn’) that can seat 30-300 people, mingle party with finger food and DJ in Orangeriet (‘The Orangery’) for up to 80 people or dinner in Herrgården (‘The Mansion’) for a maximum of 50 people.
Siggesta Gård also tailors weddings to your wishes with a professional wedding coordinator who can fix everything from helicopter tours to unique accommodation or booking a private mansion. Moreover, they offer conference facilities with unique and spacious premises such as Ryska Rummet (‘The Russian Room’), Smedjan (‘The Smithy’), and Orangeriet (‘The Orangery’).
Open 365 days a year for the life enjoyer, the forest runner, the family with children, and the wedding couple. Treat yourself to a piece of the good life and enjoy the countryside quietness. Welcome to Siggesta Gård!
