At the best location in Östermalm, close to both Djurgården’s greenery and Stureplan’s big-city pulse, you’ll find Selected Office. What used to be two separate apartments is now an office with preserved details such as high ceilings, stucco, and large mullioned windows. This gives a personal and homely feeling, far from the anonymity that you might usually associate with coworking spaces.

“We’re not like other big and impersonal coworking spaces. Here, everyone knows each other, and the atmosphere is familiar,” says Olivier Pion de Paris, Business Relations Manager.

At Selected Office you can rent everything from a private office room to a conference room.

In addition to individual office rooms in different sizes and office space in the open plan, there are several meeting and conference rooms. All rooms have their own personality and are decorated with art, green plants, and family heirlooms from CEO Fredrik Lichtenstein’s family, contributing to the cozy feeling.

The kitchen is decorated like a lounge, with soft low armchairs and warm lighting. Even the open-plan office feels stylish and cozy. The fact that there are also telephone booths is a great benefit for anyone who has ever tried to work while the neighbor insists on talking loudly on the phone.

Besides the personal and unique environment, here are all conveniences you’ll ever need. The technology is modern, and the staffed reception helps welcome visitors, take care of the mail, and other big and small things.

Among the tenants is a broad mix of smaller companies in law and finance, associations, organic skincare, and an embassy. Sitting in the same co-working space provides excellent networking opportunities, and Selected Office puts a lot of effort into taking care of all its tenants.

“What our tenants appreciate most about us is flexibility. It’s important for us to listen to everyone’s needs and involve them in both major changes and smaller everyday decisions,” says Yvonne Lundell, Office Manager.

To encourage exchanges between companies, they often arrange various activities. It can be wine tasting, shared breakfasts with guest lecturers, after works, or a test drive of sports cars and whiskey tasting.

“Often we also have popular competitions with fantastic prices such as hotel stays and spa days. They are very appreciated,” says Olivier.

Taking good care of the tenants, always delivering above expectations, and going the extra mile to create a pleasant atmosphere and a family feeling is something that both Olivier and Yvonne are passionate about.

“We want to create a feeling of safety. Coming to work here should feel like coming home,” says Olivier.

“And we have really good coffee,” Yvonne adds.

If you’re not looking to rent an office space, there are other opportunities to take part in the beautiful rooms and the personal welcoming. Here are nice meeting rooms that can be rented for both shorter meetings and longer conferences. The premises and the central location are also suitable for various events and are available every day of the week.

“We often have smaller events here. It can be anything from photography, podcasts, showrooms, film showings, or, as a while ago: a life-saving course,” says Yvonne.

An extra plus is that the Royal Guards pass outside the windows every day during the summer on their march towards the Royal Palace.
