Are you in the mood for a fantastic Neapolitan pizza? Maybe a delicious charcuterie tray? And with that, a glass of high-quality Italian wine? Then you’ll enjoy Pitza, a modern and cozy pizza restaurant combined with a wine bar. With an unbeatable location on Grev Turegatan, next door to Sturegallerian, all fine pizza lovers who live, work, or just like to hang out in Östermalm now have a new favorite place.

The restaurant scene in central Östermalm in Stockholm has long lacked a really good pizza place. A place where you can enjoy great Neapolitan pizza, homemade in the Italian way. Since April 2022, that gap in the area’s pizza map has finally been closed. What used to be a clothing store transformed into a sushi restaurant and has now become Pitza. Their excellent fine pizza takes you on a culinary journey to the pizza’s promised land, Italy. On Grev Turegatan – right in the middle of the bustling street life – luxury pizza and red and white checkered tablecloths have found a natural place among French bistros and Swedish home cooking.

On Pitza’s menu, you will find both classic pizzas such as Margherita and more innovative creations – all with a luxurious feeling and baked from scratch. Quality is the general theme for everything. The crispy pizza dough is ambitious, and the restaurant is constantly striving to improve it. The fresh, top-quality ingredients are imported directly from Naples in Italy. In other words, you know that you always get the real deal. The tomato sauce is only made from high-quality San Marzano tomatoes, fine olive oil, and salt. The same quality standards apply to the pizza toppings – where fior di latte, pecorino, and Parma ham are just a few examples.

The theme is obviously Italian, and the Italian pizzas dominate, but Swedish influences have also found their way into the menu and have been well received by the guests. The Swedish-scented luxury pizza Löjrom with Crème Fraiche, Västerbotten cheese, roe, red onion, dill, lemon, and sour cream has become a favorite. Greece also has a tasty contribution, Gyros – a pizza topped with gyro meat, tomato sauce, homemade kebab sauce, iceberg lettuce, and pepperoni. For those who prefer vegetarian, there’s the popular Vegetariana with tomato sauce, zucchini, grilled peppers, sheep cheese, and red onion.

As you can see, there’s a Neapolitan pizza for all tastes (including children’s pizza) and also festive dessert pizzas for those who want to enjoy pizza in a sweet format. Nutella, hazelnuts, strawberries, crushed meringue, and rhubarb curd are some of the goodies on the crispy and fluffy dessert pizzas.

But Pitza isn’t just a restaurant for those who love fine pizza. If you want lighter food, there are also other delicacies such as charcuterie tray, cheese tray, burrata salad, olives, and freshly baked sourdough bread with exceptionally delicious butter. And what goes better with these delicacies (or pizza) than a glass of quality Italian wine or an excellent Italian beer? If you’re in the mood for drinks, the bar can, of course, also mix a fresh cocktail.

The restaurant is 80 square meters with two floors and has room for 30-40 people. The interior is modern with muted colors, but at the same time, it’s pleasantly Italian. Here you’ll find Italian art on the walls, large fine stone benches, and design lamps. And, of course, red and white checkered tablecloths – almost mandatory in an authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly, and Pitza is perfect for all occasions – a cozy date with your partner, a dinner with a group of friends, or a glass of wine with a colleague after work. The guests are a wonderful mix of both younger and older food and wine lovers.

In summer, don’t miss the chance to have your favorite pizza and a cold beer on the outdoor terrace. There’s room for 30 people, and besides enjoying good food and drink, you also have the perfect spot for people-watching.

Welcome to Pitza!
