Being new to the City, I had no idea where to go for a good meal at a restaurant apart from what I had read online. So this meant exploring had to begin immediately. I stumbled across HAYMARKET in Hotorget Square earlier this year when I came to Stockholm on holiday. I wondered inside to find the prettiest, chic coffee place called Gretas. I didn’t have time to go inside and have a drink back then… so I put it on my list of things to do once I moved here, and I couldn’t wait to go.
Step inside this charming place and the first thing you’ll notice is how beautiful the décor is. It’s spacious, so you won’t feel cramped like you do in other places, but still super cosy. It’s the perfect place to take your laptop to do a bit of work or meet some friends for a light lunch. The food is absolute perfection and beautifully presented. I had Earl Grey tea with pink macaroons along with the dish of the day. Greta’s is definitely my favourite hang-out spot. You should check it out too!
You don’t need a reservation to go here. Just head to HAYMARKET and you’ll find Greta’s on the ground floor on your left.
