I have recently started to use The Fork when making dinner reservations. I was introduced to the app when I was in Paris and searched for good restaurants. The Fork is a way to both discover and make bookings at restaurants. It is part of tripadvisor and contains reviews and gradings only from customers that has visited the restaurant which ensures the reviews are legitimate. I had never used The Fork before but was happily surprised by the service, it was an easy way to find restaurants in the right neighbourhood, suiting price class, and with the type of cuisine your looking for. The Fork also contains offers on some of the restaurants, for example -30% off when booking through the app.
Yesterday I had dinner at Napolyon, a french inspired bistro located at Grev Turegatan. I made my reservation with The Fork and got a 50% discount on the à la carte menu. With this we indulged ourselves with some wine and a two course meal on a regular monday 😉
The restaurant was on the top rankings for Stockholm with 8,7/10 in average and had really good reviews. I booked this about two hours in advance and it was still available. I think this is something that can be a problem with other reservation services I have used, if you want an offer/discount you often have to make it several days in advance.
Grilled ribeye steak with tomato sallad, truffle creme, bearnaise and french fries.
After the visit I am able to grade and give my review of the restaurant at The Fork. I was really satisfied with this dinner. I can only agree on what has already been said, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was really nice with beautiful furniture and good people spotting. I strongly recommend a visit!
