Banana Bread

One of the most wonderful and delicious things I know is banana bread. Being fairly easy to make, if you count out the cooking time, makes this recipe perfect for when you want something sweet and filling to look forward to. Once being made, sliced and stored, you can toast it just before serving and spread some butter on top. The trick to making this banana bread a true success is to use only incredibly ripe bananas, the spottier and browner, the better! This makes them not only have more nutrients in them, but it will also make your bread taste sweeter so you won’t have to use as much sugar.

Here’s what you need

    • 5 whole eggs
    • 3 dl sugar
    • 5 Bananas
    • 150g almond paste
    • 4 dl flour
    1. Pre-heat the oven on 200 degrees celsius.
    1. In a food processor, add the eggs and sugar and blend until it’s all mixed.
    1. Grate the almond paste and add in the processor together with the bananas and flour and pulse until smooth.
    1. Butter a bread mold and pour your banana batter in it, add slices of butter on top and let it stay in the oven for about 50 minutes before taking it out and letting it cool.

Keep it stored in the fridge and take out whenever you want this delicious treat!
